We, the undersigned, citizens and residents of the United States, have grave concerns about the continuing illegal and violent actions perpetrated against the US population by agents of the Federal U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Under Their Parent Agency the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
We recognize that far too many of their actions are unjustifiable acts of intimidation, assault, and homicide, taken by an extrajudicial para-military force on behalf of the Trump Administration, an attempt to deprive citizens and residents of exercising their perfectly legitimate constitutional rights of residency and protest. We believe that this is little more than a ploy by the Trump Regime to subvert our Constitutional Liberties and our Democracy, a literal Insurrection by cohorts of an insatiably power obsessed president, with the purpose of imposing an oppressive Tyranny across the entire country.
We demand that Congress immediately strip ICE of all funding that they use to inflict these crimes against our Nation and undertake a serious and comprehensive investigation of this Agency’s personnel and of the leadership in the Trump Administration, all those responsible for these violations against the People of this country. We demand that those responsible for these illegal activities be prosecuted and brought to justice, and that their penalties be sufficiently severe to deter future enemies of our Democracy.
